Terms of Service

Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use ChatMyRide. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

Acceptable use

Be a good member of the community. You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive content, or upload media you don't have the rights to.
• Misrepresent a vehicle, its documentation, or its ownership, or impersonate anyone.
• Scrape, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the security or access controls of the service.
• Use the service to spam, defraud, or harass other members.

All uploaded images and videos are screened before they appear publicly, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of the cars, photos, and posts you add. You grant ChatMyRide a license to host and display that content to operate the features you use (for example, showing a public car in its showroom and registry). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you document.

Memberships & billing

Paid tiers (Garage, Shop, Pro) and Vendor Hub subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Founding Member benefits apply as described at signup. You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Marketplace

Listings and buyer interest are a way for members to connect. ChatMyRide is not a party to any sale, does not process payments between members, and makes no warranty about any vehicle or part. Do your own due diligence.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the community. Some provisions survive termination, including content licenses for already-public posts and limitation of liability.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChatMyRide is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date and, where appropriate, we'll ask you to re-accept. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
